You're better off just using carplay/android auto if your system supports it.

I thought that was for Sync 4 at first look. This is the first I've seen of some type of subscription for Sync3 nav.

Yup - was just wondering if anyone tried this out.... I do use Apple CarPlay - which is fine till you enter an area with. no service.... and you want to enter a new destination

Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and a dedicated GPS unit would be a better option IMO.

offline maps. There’s navigation apps that allow you to download offline maps.

Google Maps lets you download map areas. Not perfect, but it can cover a decent area.
