Egr.

Got an egr question. If I disconnect the green vacuum line going the egr and apply vacuum to the egr diaphragm should it hold vacuum and not bleed down?

Closed EGR valve EVP resistance should be ~5500 ohms measuring between the EVP output and Signal return pins. Fully opened EGR EVP resistance should be ~100 ohms. This assumes you have the correct gray EVP sensor installed.

Worn spark plugs/wires/Cap/rotor can cause a miss under load. Not routing the plug wires properly to prevent cross fire is another common cause of a misfire. Also using the wrong firing order can cause a misfire. Many other causes that you need to investigate if the ignition components are verified good. If you have a 2G alternator it puts out very little current at idle. It is a design flaw as well as the very common melting power plug that catches fire.
