Codes and engine light

Hey everyone,

so I have a 2011 6.7, bought it with a previous tune that I have no idea about. I don’t have the screen to check the data. But I’ve got a check engine light on, I’ve hooked up a code reader to it and received a P02DA which is the cylinder 8 injector offset learning at a minimum. I’m wondering if it’s because of the tune? Everything drives and runs just fine! So just some help, is it something I need to worry about? Thanks.

This is a problem for all that buy a truck with tunes that are unknown and no tuner with your factory tune on it.

I am afraid you are pretty much on your own wtth this. I would suggest you get forecan and learn how to use it, then consider using that to test the injector, if you decide to replace it then you will need that to program the new injector into the pcm.

First try a little fuel injection cleaner for diesels.
