Traction control issue

I have a 2015 f350 6.7, I bought it used, I have taken it to the Ford dealer a few times and they cannot figure out the problem. Hopefully someone on here can help me. It has a 10" lift with 40×15.5 tires. When I turn it makes what sounds like a tire rub sound, usually on left turns but it is NOT the tires rubbing. I can feel the steering wheel bounce. I figured out if I turn off the traction control it is significantly less. Almost gone but is starting to get worse even when traction control is turned off. I have changed my tires to 37×13.5 with no difference because one tech said it was the tire size that the tires were turning at different speeds and computer thought it was losing traction but that's not it. Anyone have any ideas what I can check or change to try and remedy this problem

How are your front axle u-joints? My 2006 f350 developed a steering wheel bounce that turned out to be one of the front axle u-joints binding.

They feel tight but could possibly need replaced 🤔. But why would it stop when I turn off traction control. I also greased them and it still does the same thing

Everything has to do with tire size. put to big a tire on your truck you need to compensate for that in the computer. The wheel speed doesn't match what tire the truck thinks it has. I bet your speedo is off as well. Ford only allowed a certain tire size upgrade with our trucks. and if you go beyond that it will cause braking problems. You can download Forscan and change tire sizes with that program. There are You Tube videos of how it's done.
Tire size and the computer are connected to fuel speed braking transmission. They need to be in sync so the truck will run correctly.

the speedo is on and set for the 40" tires. But that is one thing I didn't do when I went down to the 37" tires was reset the speedo for that size. I will put those tires back on and try that, thank you

Just change the tire size for the tires you have on now. Thats a big change from 40's to 37's

Check your steering pitman for rub with the track bar bracket.

i just did a 5” lift and used a 2” to 3” track bar relocation bracket with a 4” to 6” pitman arm bracket. I get a rub at extreme turns. I ordered a 4” to 5” pitman arm to see if that will work better.

I will definitely take a look at that, thanks
