Smile e350 97 e40d no reverse

hello everyone, e40d got no reverse anymore ,problem started couple months ago with delayed engagement, it was like 3 sec, 5sec ,5sec.sometimes before i parked i would place it in reverse for couple sec then park and it would start right away next time on cold.
now it doesnt budge but you can feel transmission change gear when you shift it .
forward is good.
when dropped pan it was about 1 full gallon jug of oil, probably around 1.25.didnt touched torque converter tho.
refilled with about 2 gals ,cant figure out current level yet.waiting for residual.
filter was tight .
magnet was covered in black oily goo.
fluid itself look bit dark pink.
i googled and looked up this site results and couldnt find similar pattern of problems.
thank you.

edit1:

added another gal ,let it idle, shifted thru gears back and forth and finally was able to reverse, test drove it to grocery store ,after leaving market reverse wouldnt work ,made it home and it wouldnt reverse initially, ran thru gears and it started working again. not sure what to think about it
lol i still have same van from 2014 97.thing is beast despite being rust bucket

Pull the trans out and rebuild or replace it. It's done. Something failed in the reverse clutch, probably a seal.

None of them are destroyed, but a few look dark, but it could be the lighting. That's what they look like before they burn up. These clutches are still functional.

does it mean my reverse was hesitant due to low/reverse case piston seal leaking or there is something else in there? i havent taken apart assemblies yet and found only 1 sticking valve in accumulator 1-2 ,im still reading atsg but your expertise is always better firsthand since im newb xD

I think you do have a seal problem.

I found servo piston is getting stuck in that hole ,what possible problems it may cause ,spring is stiff and works ,rubber is soft ,it's updated version without snap ring.
