Ebay find

I'm not really into Broncos but this one caught my eye on Ebay. The 4 speed surprised me, but it's cool.http://www.ebay.com/itm/353827848612...cAAOSwxPBhyy3J

The air filter is missing more than the fresh air flex hose. It is missing the 2 off the top and then has 2 open ports on the side. Nothing to the neck flapper valve. Dvrs side mirror crooked, dvrs seat has a rip, passenger side if close to ripping also. Steering wheel wrap is crooked. Radio missing both inner *****. It has the OEM fog light switch, but no OEM bull bar or lights. Dirt in the gas pedal grooves. None OEM skid plate on the gas tank. Crazy looking prerunner style trailing arms/traction arms on the rear axle. It's such a beater.....

I wasn't saying it was a beater. I stopped looking at it when I saw that missing. But if you want to go there, it is overpriced but someone with more money than brains will be happy for 30 seconds.

Boy, if you guys are worried about a dirty gas pedals, missing ***** on an aftermarket radio (most were dealer installed then anyway) or a CROOKED MIRROR!!! you must have some truly admirable 100% vehicles. I agree the price is stiff and that for that kind of money I would expect concours condition, but assuming a cheap rebuild from a battery cable? You are tough judges...

Ever seen what concours judges carp on? Your first post would fit right in...

Yeah, my sarcasm detector was obviously off-line.

I had to Google a Concours Judge or "Concours d’Elegance" to learn something new.
I know now..https://pebblebeachconcours.net/part...ective-judges/

as a friend who hangs out with those types says, "The difference between a 99 point car and a 100 point car... is about a million bucks." Different kinds of cars, different kinds of people.

Prices are crazy, Original Maverick $1,995, New Maverick $19,950. But for 55K you can find it in any parking lot.
