Catch up time for those of you who are not on the book of face. Last week was great! The F150 decided that it didnt like the connecting rod on cylinder 2 and tried to spit it out and cracked the block. Found out it was going to be about 10k to get a new engine installed and decided a 11 year old truck was not worth it. I get to pay the last loan payment on it tomorrow, Yay.
Fast forward to yesterday I got a lead on a 2019 F150 Lariat with every option available on trade in at a dealer in Standish. Called over and had them drive it the 2 hours to my office to take a look at it. It is high mileage 100k as it was run back and forth to Florida but everything checked out on it. Got them down to 30k due to mileage, tires, and a interior door pannel that need to be painted. So I got it below trade in value which made me ok with the mileage.
All in all it worked out as I was able to grab a loan from work for 2.44%
