Well new oil cooler on order at the dealer. Cant get an appt till the 13th but they are going to try and fit it in before. So stuck driving the big blue truck with no ac or gauges lol
The F250 sprung a leak, found a puddle of oil under it when I moved it out of the barn yesterday. It appears that the #6 & #7 injectors are leaking oil past the grommet in the valve cover. Looks like a pain in the butt to get to, glad I still have engine warranty on it......
Interesting. Only oil leak I've heard/seen happen is the upper oil pan.
Wonder if a boost tube is leaking, and it's spraying crankcase vapors in the area?
It looks like it's coming right out of the top on both middle injectors. I cleaned the area yesterday with brake clean wondering if from the temps towing last week excessive pressure built up for some reason, but drove it around a little yesterday and it was seeping from the #6 injector in about 40 miles of driving and not towing. There are a couple you tube videos on it. Either way it's going into local garage here a week from Monday after we get back from south haven
