4wd swap

I have mostly completed a 4wd swap in my 2000 f-250. I got a 4wd pitman arm and when i go to install it is offset (pitman arm not facing straight. My stock 2wd arm is indexed so that it faces straight. Anyone done the swap and used there 2wd pitman arm? everything I read says you need a 4wd arm but this one seems like it will work. Im asking since I am about to install the track bar bracket.

Are the steering boxes the same for the 2wd and 4wd?

Are you using the 4wd steering box?

Are you doing a coil or leaf spring front axle?

What do you mean by "faces straight"? vs "offset"
