Wiring help needed

I’m trying to find what wires to use on my 2022 F250 CC XL that are hot when you open the doors. I’m trying to find it under the panel on the drivers side second door. Where can I find this info. Thanks in advance

What are you trying to power? Interior or exterior?

Look on the frame close to the back of the cab location. There is a white plug there for the fancy auto-steps that is powered when the doors come open and go off when the door is shut. There should be one on both sides and it will be two wires going to those plugs, one blue-ish and one is white.

Yes it would be that easy. My truck is an XL it doesn’t have that plug.

Ok, not all hope is lost. If you pry up the driver and passenger front door seal plastic, there should be a plug that isn't used for anything. I don't have a pic of it, but there are multiple threads here that show it. That is another power source that will work for ya.

I can’t find a plug in those areas. I guessing that being the XL is the reason. I will try from the video you sent. Thanks for that info. Have a happy New Years!
