2002 F350 7.3 Sensor

Hello All
I did some work on my F350. I could not find where this sensor went. Let me know if you recognize it. It hangs over the center of the valley.

I'm going to venture to say it is not the IPR as the truck wont run with the IPR unplugged and that cap looks like its been there for some time. Looks like the Exhaust backpressure valve connector.. Does your truck have the exhaust backpressure valve deleted?

This is true. If it has been running unplugged, ignore my post.

You nailed it. I did the EBPV deplete and this is a cap on the connector to prevent codes being thrown. I had forgotten that was a part of the process. Looks like I can ignore it. Thanks for the reply
