My Beamtechs cause radio interference too. I contacted them and they sent me free inline filters which cured my problem. Seemed to also cure an occasional flicker too.
@Poncho450 Did you ever get the new Hikaris? Was looking at them, too.
Yes. They were delivered on Jan. 3. I installed them a couple of days later. As I posted earlier I only installed them in the top headlights because I still had 2 of my previously used Hikari Ultra installed in the bottom pair. I'd removed all 4 of the Hikari Ultras from the 2020 I traded and somehow one of the pigtails got twisted enough to make a bulb non functional.
So as it stands I have the 2 new HyperStars in the top and my old Ultras in the bottom. But all are Hikari bulbs and I'm good with the results.
@Poncho450 how is the connector fitment on the Hyperstars? Apparently some people were having problems with the Ultras not latching and I was wondering if you experienced this with the new Hyperstars.
Also, do you find the Hyperstars to be an upgrade to the Ultra?

Its honestly hard to tell if the HyperStars are better because mine are in combination with the Ultras. I can say that I’m happy with the result.
As far as the plugs they didn’t snap securely together with either model bulb. They never came apart in the year they were used in my 2020. But when I installed in the new 2022 I gave them an X shaped wrap of electrical tape just to be sure. I especially didn’t want the bottom set to come unplugged because they’re difficult to get to.
