Haven’t really had no issues with sync 4 until a couple of days ago, wondering if anyone else has a solution or is experiencing this.
Most recent issue is Bluetooth keeps losing connection every 10-15 minutes and at the same time wireless CarPlay just stopped working at all.
other thing I’ve noticed but no really a big deal is the smaller info on the right side of screen really just decides on its own what to show sometimes it would be navigation or media then it would randomly switch to like bed camera or climate control. Doesn’t really bother me just annoying some times.
If anyone can give me an idea on what todo would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want the truck to be at the dealer for weeks for something simple I can resolve on my own. Thanks
I haven't had any connectivity issues, but I do experience the side controls randomly changing on their own. Just make sure you phone OS is up to date.
Update: I did the master reset on the display and restarted my phone about the same time, and now my CarPlay is functional after pairing my phone again. However Bluetooth is still come and go. I’ll probably try a battery reset to see if it helps
I had a different issue and I have sync 3 but maybe try updating the sync software? I parked close to my house and connected to my wifi. There is a settings tabs somewhere on ford interface (not CarPlay) to update software. Mine had old software even tho it was built at end of November.
