Problems with a new F350

I just bought a new f350 I have 7000 miles on it since day one I knew there some thing wrong when I give it gas it won't go it surges. The dealer ship said they had to duplicate the problem or they could not fix it . Wrong they can keep that truck when some one spends 50 or60 thousand they should not worrie about getting stuck on the side of the road this is my second ford and will be my last. Ford needs to stand behind there product and put good trucks out in the market.

Yikes!
Sorry to hear of the bad luck.
Any chance its bad fuel?
What year/motor do you have?

I've got a little over 1,000miles on my 2012 F350 with the 6.2, still loving every minute of it!
Keep us updated as to what happens and I hope things work out for the best

Welcome to FTE.

Are you asking for advice or are you just here to rant about your truck? If you're seeking advice, tell us more about the truck (model year, engine, etc.) and we'll try to get you headed in the right direction.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but they are just telling you the truth. If they can't duplicate the problem, what are they supposed to fix? Intermittent problems are always tough, because the problem never seems to happen when you go to get it fixed.

There are many different things that could cause the problem you are having, but it needs to be acting up when you take it in or there is no way for them to properly diagnose and fix it. They could throw parts at it all day, but that doesn't do anyone any good.

Are there any DTC (codes)? You could video tape the problem and bring it to the dealership for assessment...

I had the same problem with mine. No codes set but the dealer was able to fix the problem by checking the data logger.

I agree with John, more info will be needed to help. My '11 F250 with a 6.2L has a little over 10K on the clock and I have not had any of those issues. I've driven it a little over 3K since I bought it, but there was no such problems from new. I got the vehicle history from the dealer when I bought it as a nearly new used truck.

Speaking now as an ex-ASE certified master truck mechanic, as a general rule it's not proper to just replace parts without knowing the issue. If a dealer or any good mechanic cannot reproduce the issue it's really hard to fix. And if your truck is doing what it is without a code being present, the only way to fix it is to reproduce the problem. Usually a surge like that that doesn't throw a code is a wiring issue, but it's nearly impossible to be sure unless you are working on the vehicle when the problem is present.
