SERIAL Number questions

I purchased a chassis being told it was a 1962. After cleaning off the frame this is what I found * F 350R270645* Can someone please help decode this ? Appreciate your time all ... thanks

Built in March 1962 . F350 1ton San Jose Ca. Shure "O" isnt a "C". Thats the engine code.

F35 = F350
BUT 4th character is not part of model, it's the Engine Code, so:
**If code C = 292 V8, 2V (ie 2 bbl)
**If code D = 292 V8, 4V (ie: 4 bbl)
R = Truck was manufactured in the San Jose Assembly Plant
270645 = Consecutive Unit Number, Truck was produced in March/1962
