56 ford serial number

I don't have the plate but I do have a frame number. A star followed by a 10 digit number and another star. everything so far has pointed to an original frame but I need to decode frame numbers.

THANKS FOR THE INFO I HAVE A MARK WHERE THE ZERO SHOULD BE BUT THE OTHER DIGITS ARE CLEAR. I LOOKED FOR OTHER AREAS FOR A SECOND MARK AND HAVE YET TO FIND ANY. THIS NUMBER WAS ON PASS. SIDE FORWARD OF FIREWALL.
