8' bed

Quick question for those that have all the know. Will a 2016 8' bed fit a 08 truck with 8' bed?. Cross members are gone in mine and fenders are bad so not worth fixing cross members. I think I heard saw that 99 to 16 are the same but I'm not sure at all so I would like to be positive before I buy the new bed.

Yes. The gas door and fender lips are different, but the body lines do match.

how about mounting bolt holes? I would just as soon not do any modifications to mount it.

As far as I know, all the mounting is the same except for the gas filler tube. Folks either adapt what they have or upgrade to the 2011-2016 filler tube.
