Stock tuning? If so, that is not a huge surprise while driving. Does it free rev above 2800 while in neutral? If it kind of stumbles you may have an injector oring issue
No it is tuned specific to my injectors, and turbo wheel. The truck ran perfect before I did the glow plugs and valve cover gaskets. I am getting all them codes is there a chance my idm took a dump? I can still do a buzz test though.
The 96 crew started to miss on 1 cylinder a few years ago. It would pass the buzz test, but it said cylinder #1 was the problem. swapping injectors around did no good. Turned out the IDM crapped out.

others will join in with opinions and ideas but I’ll throw my .02 in (not worth much but) I’d say idm took a crap as mentioned here^ Have you done a resistance test for the injectors?
From what I understand the IDM are universal for the 7.3. If I was to go to the junkyard and buy one from a 7.3 would I be better off getting one from a newer truck?

The NBS trucks have a higher voltage IDM than the ones in our trucks. It is supposed to be an upgrade for our trucks.

@96_350 No, the IDM is universal from 1994.5 through 2003.5 (7.3L). If you can find one from a junkyard that is in working condition, it will do just fine in your truck. Alternatively, you can get a new one from places like Riffraff or Diesel Tech Chattanooga.

This is partially true... There are higher voltage IDM's available from places like Diesel Tech Chattanooga, Swamps, etc. But, those are modified aftermarket. All IDM's from the factory and Ford for the 7.3L are the same voltage.
