F350 TPMS question
Quick question. I have searched and cannot find the answer. On the F350, are the TPMS sensors just a monitor or a warning? If a warning, at what psi drop does the light get triggered?

If the tire pressure is too low, you get a warning when you first start the truck and a light that stays lit up on the dash. Nothing blinking, just a yellow idiot light. Mine's on pretty much full time, I don't know specifically what pressure triggers them. You can adjust the 'set' pressure using Forscan also.

Your low pressure light will indicate as soon as the pressure drops below what is set on the computer. As many run their tire pressures less that what is listed on their door, they will get a continuous low pressure warning on the dash. You can use FORScan to adjust these thresholds in order to keep the light from coming on. My truck recommends 60 front and 80 rear but I run mine at 60 front and 55 rear. I adjusted my indicator to come on at 50 front and 45 rear. When I look at my FordPass App, is now lists the recommended cold pressure for my truck at 50/45.

thanks. that's what i thought. i couldn't remember from when i had my '17.
i used forscan on the '17 to change a bunch of things.
i need to break out the old pc and relearn how to use it 😏
