Minimum Air Pressure before Warning Light Illuminates

Good morning all,

I have a 2022 F250 Tremor. What are the Minimum Air Pressures before Warning Light Illuminates? The pressures were set to the sticker values and the truck is a bit rougher than it needs to be. Yes, I know this is a truck. My first was 2002 F250.

I don't currently have ForScan, but would like to get it some time in the future.

Thank you!

Our truck’s tire pressure specs are 60 F / 80 R. I’ve had the front tires down to as low as 50 psi cold without a TPMS alert.

The TPMS alerts if the rear tire pressure falls to below 65 psi, but it seems to take a while.

So, it seems that a >15 psi drop will (eventually) cause an alert.

On the other side, it seems that I have to inflate the tires to 60 F / 80 R to turn off the alert.

I just drop the pressures and ignore the idiot light. Unloaded, I run low 50-55 up front and 45-50 psi in the rear. The dash light is always on and I get the alert when I first start the truck but I'd rather deal with that than the crappy ride quality.

I do scan the alert when I start the truck, but, if the values are close to where I set them, then I switch off that screen and ignore the smart telltale icon.

However, when we’re fully loaded and the tires are aired up to spec, then I pay closer attention. Accordingly, I decided against lowering the pressure target valises (and corresponding alert thresholds) with FORscan.

I run 50 up front and 50 in the back. I reset the limits with Forscan and I only air up went towing the 5er. If I'm fishing I'll run the rear at 60. Ride is much better and so is tire wear.

I think it will alert at around 20% bellow suggested sticker psi.

I set my TPMS pressure to 65 front & rear with ForScan and run 55 to 60 psi. I wanted the alarm to alert me if any tire drops below 50 psi and this works well for me.

Thank you all! I guess I need to get ForScan sooner rather than later.
