1957 C600 Decode
Data Plate?
Cab
The data plate on the door seems to have been removed and this is all the information I have. I have noticed that "C60" seems to mean it is a C-600 however there are C-700 markers on the doors. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

C60 = '57/'58 C600, 18,000 lbs GVWR
L = '57/'58 272 2V MD Y-block gas V8
7 = 1957
U = Louisville Assembly Plant
18389 = Serial number
18000 = 18,000 lbs GVWR
135 = 135 inch wheelbase
153 4100 = 153 HP @ 4100 RPM (also shown under the engine code in the MPC)
4SPD = 4 speed transmission, probably a Warner T98.
6.33-.8.81 = Two speed axle ratios HD? "Heavy Duty"?
T might be the paint code, but I don't have those codes.
The rest I do not know and again, it's not in the format shown in the MPC.
As to the lack of a warranty plate on the door and the C700 badges--your doors were change. Not unusual for a truck this age. The doors are the same for all C series cabs, at least within a given production year, and probably throughout the entire production time.
