Hello,
Can anyone identify what is causing this wear on my tires. Its been 2 years since ive had an alignment. I dont have many choices of businesses that do alignments on our trucks.
Tire choice will have a lot to do with it too. Some tires just tend to wear badly no matter what you do. I have been running BFG KO2's on all my trucks and that never seems to happen even at 60k mi.
I forgot to mention that i've had a camper on it for the past 5 years. Not sure if that would contribute to the problem. All the bushings had been replace a few years back.
It's hard to tell from the pictures you provided, but in addition to the excellent replies you got, it appears that you may be getting some "cupping" wear. Sometimes a good tire spin balance can be a real help in eliminating cupping wear. Also check for proper preload and overall condition of the front wheel bearings.
