Besides the usual "your mom" places, the rear capped hole in the valley pan - does it drain into the crankcase and oilpan? I'd like to use it as an oil return spot for a turbo install I'm whipping up.
Next question is why does the pipe plug have a through-hole?! That implies whatever this is "capping" is/was venting to the air. Somehow I feel like this isn't quite right.
It sure did have a 3/8 square socket. I was curious why a "pipe plug" had a hole right through it. Well yes, turns out it just drains off down the back side of the block around the transmission bell housing. So, not useful for what I was hoping to do!
Time to engineer something to use the CDR wormhole.
