Caught a 2022 Ford Maverick on the local Ford dealership lot. The first one I saw was driving down the road. And the same color. Window sticker said $33,850. Tag hanging in windshield was marked up five grand.
my parents have one on order..its the hybrid one and its delayed until at least january
our dealer down in tyler has a bright flaming red one that is really nice looking. msrp or xplan is what they are offering.
i want one for tooling to the grocery store or around town.

And is that yellow tag inside say SALE ???
what idiots
I didn't think Ford wanted the dealers to be marking up over msrp, or was that just the Bronco? Personally I can't stand that color blue. Ford brought back the name why not the colors?
Stopped by local dealer last week. Offered me $3,300 in positive equity on buyout of my leased Ranger and said he’d take an order at X-plan for a Maverick. I am strongly considering it.

I went to order a Hybrid today and the dealer I just purchased my ‘22 TRX from 3 weeks ago stated that ford cut off hybrid orders for 2022 hybrids, and there would be an 8 month wait for an ordered 22 EB. My option if I wanted a hybrid is to literally wait 1+ Year or buy off the lot. He had a single hybrid on the lot, an XLT, no luxury package, and he’s not budging off a $5k ADM. I’m looking for a Hybrid XLT with luxury package. Geez.
Dad was lucky to get what he wanted at the dealer. $3300 out the door, Medium Chestnut Metallic, pretty stripped down but new. Oh, that was sooo 1976.
Drove it to get my license...40 years ago, lol.
I like the new ones though, but I will wait, prices are nuts. Is there a 3 on the tree option?
(sorry folks, I got omicron and came out with a more twisted mind and xray vision, weird)
Three on the tree Maverick, what I took for drivers test at police dept. No PS or PB, Lucky had AM radio and heater. Was lucky, had bright trim around windows but with blue Tartan seating and had full carpeting. along with the 250 tire burner. No need for big screen navigation or usb outlets then. Showing age but anyone know what ground height to seat height is on a new one?
After more consideration I went with the Ecoboost rather than the hybrid. This will just be an additional occasional driver and I’ll use it primarily on the (6) 1000 mile fishing trips I do annually to keep the mileage off the others. I’ll probably put ~8k miles a year on it mostly on the highway and it seems there’s not much difference in fuel economy between the 2 versions on the highway. I think the Ecoboost 8speed will also deliver a better driving experience than the CVT in the hybrid. As all my other daily drivers are 4x4 I just went XLT FWD with Luxury package and emailed my dealer to order tonight. I’d be happy to see it by July 4. We’ll see. I just traded my 802a ‘19 Raptor daily driver on a loaded L2 ‘22 TRX, but am actually pretty excited about this new Maverick, sounds like a fun little truck....
