I drove truck yesterday and it has remained locked since i returned home.
nothing is on, its just relaxing under the carport. what is deep sleep?? its not windows 10
When I started getting those on my 20 it was the BMS shutting down because I had two failing batteries. Neither battery would stay above 80% charge. This has been common along with leaking batteries.

I will take a look.
at them
ran out and plugged in battery charger
12 volts and only 84% charge.
this is really puzzling as the drive home yesterday, i thought should have charged them close to full ,
I have never seen the message, but have read that it will sleep after an extended period of time without starting. That extended period shouldn't be 1 day lol.
I have also read about battery issues, early failures, corroded terminals and hold down brackets....I thought I lucked out on my 2019, all good until last night, popped the hood to do some upfitter wiring and there it was. It has begun.
Just read on Ford website...extreme heat or cold could set such a notice or 14 consecutive days of no start / .
or voltage below a threshold that was iirc 8 volts
so I am calling it extreme heat. 101 under carport today. I know vehicles Don t care about heat index, but it was over 108
edit
so i just made my day in a funny way, went to unplugg battery charger as it was DONE. rolled up cord and put charger on ground. slammed hood down and BAM set off the alarm
oh boy ..key is in house, my dogs are lookign at me like am a snack (bad guy) and i cant get in fast enough to find keys fob and run back out and start truck honk honk honk honk honk neighbors lights coming on
Mine does this if I go a few days without using the truck. It does it less often now. Not sure if it’s because of the warmer summer temps or if the system learned that that I don’t use the truck during the week. Actually I haven’t started the truck in almost three weeks now.
My 21 did it when I first got it, I arttributed it to sitting on a lot for a long time, I have not seen the message since the week after I brought it home from the dealership.

Next time just enter the door code if you don't have keys with you.
I would get that message on my 2020 when it sat for a couple of weeks in the workshop. I always keep it on a BatteryMinder so I disabled the Deep Sleep mode thru Forscan.

i need to see what all goes to SLEEP in the deep mode
we travel a lot in the motorhome and the super duty stays inside the rv garage for weeks and soon, much longer
always left my other vehicle on trickle charger as well.
When my truck goes into deep sleep mode I can't lock /unlock or start it with ford pass. It has all ways started up normally with the key When its in Sleep mode. Seems to be a cold weather thing with my truck.
