Removing fuel sender unit to fix showerheads
How do I get these sender units out? The back tank has a plastic ring , the front tank is all metal ring, F350 with a dump bed
Front tank is a metal ring

The metal ring "unscrews" Use a punch, or big screwdriver on the tabs to knock it loose. There is a gasket under the sending unit that seals it in place. You may have to hit quite hard, use some penetrating lube and work your way around.
No clue on the plastic one, I've only dealt with the metal rings on the tanks I've dropped.
