Ordered a new F 350 this week. In short order got a confirmation and then a VIN and build date week the very next day.
There's a link in the email from Ford to the tracking website. I could go directly from the email's link to the page and the order number and VIN were automatically inserted into the fields. From there I could hit the "Accept & Track" button and the web page with the status would appear.
Now when I attempt this or if I go directly to the tracking page and insert the proper information and try the Accept & Track button, the page will refresh and the fields will be blank, like I'd never put the info in. Essentially no information on the new order appears. I've cleared cookies, made sure no ad/content blockers were on and made sure that the browsers (both Brave and Safari) would accept cookies. I have cross site trackers turned off but that's always been the case, even when I could view the status properly.
I also notice that when I click on the Account portion at ford.com, just above the Disclosures there's a never ending circle. It's like it will not complete loading.
Has anyone else had the problem or did I just miss something in the settings when I tried to fix it? Weird that it worked just fine for few days and then suddenly stopped when I'd changed nothing in the browser settings.
I also checked it on Safari on the iPhone. Same problem.
Maybe the link in the email has a token of some kind. Press on the link within the email until you get a Copy Link function, then paste link link into something like Notepad for analysis. Just a thought.
Same thing has been happening to me for the last few weeks, somedays it works somedays it does the same as your does. When you fill in the order number and VIN # it either works or refreshes back blank. So it's not just you. Rick.
Well...I just entered my order # and VIN # again and this time it worked. Dont know why it worked this time when it didn't work earlier in the day. Good luck.
Seems to work on the same system ford uses to pick build dates. I've had pretty good luck with the Mach-E tracker when the main one is being fiddly.
Still no go on Ford's website but the Mach E site is bringing up the information. This morning the "share your thoughts" link survey also didn't work. Ford's IT has always been below standard in my opinion.
From Experience. I ordered mine ( F-350 dually ) on Sep 11th of this year. First they gave me a date of 1 Nov for the build. Then a little later, they changed it to 25 Oct.. That made my day. Well the week before that date, they changed it back to. 1 Nov. Bummer. the week before 1 No they changed to 8 Nov. Bummer again. Just today, I got another email and it says Production date changed to 15 Nov. Bottom line, is don't get overly excited about the initial production date. It probably ain't gona happen.
Oh.. just got a call from my dealer.. Update that they got is that the ACTUAL day will be 17 Nov.. Said it literally takes a few hours on the line, then it gets the delivery date. Here's hopping.

I like to keep track just for something to do sometimes. I never actually held out hope that it would be built when originally specified. I'm driving a 2020. I don't need the new truck to get here immediately and I'm not like some people here who want to have a GPS location, contact the railroad, find out what ramp it loaded from, contact the trucking company, etc. like it's going to make the truck get there any faster. I'm 58, not 7 and waiting for Santa Claus. The truck will arrive when it arrives.
Hell, I remember ordering trucks in the 90's and early 2000's. Did it in person and then forgot about it until the dealer called to say it was there.
Haha.. that's where we differ lol.. I'm 71, and to me it is like waiting for Santa. I sold my 2012 F-250 last month, so right now I'm without 4 wheel transportation, except for my Harley, and it's starting to get a little cold. I'm like you though. Never expected it to be delivered as originally quoted, but was just commenting on your post.. It will get here when it does.. I was just hoping to get it by Christmas.. Maybe it'll still happen.

Funny! We've got a couple of Harleys sitting in the garage too. But for sure getting too cold with "lake effect rain" predicted for the area to ride those.
Fortunately I got over $5k more for trading than by selling to Carmax, not to mention the sales tax savings in my state. Plus, it still leaves me with wheels until the new one gets here.
No one ever knows with these orders. Guys here on the forum as well as a couple of dealers told me that they were pleasantly surprised with how soon a truck arrived. Others report delays. I guess we just ride it out and see what happens. Not like we have a choice.
Just got a call from my dealer.. Said HE just got an update with the EXACT date it's going on the line.. 17 Nov .. Said they don't tell that to the customer, but the dealer gets better updates.

That sucks, did you get your window sticker or have it update to "in production" before the dates bumped or was it still order processing?
