Could someone post the link to the Ford order tracking website. I know COTUS is gone, but Ford still has a site you can put your VIN in and get your build status. I was on the website earlier, but for the life of me I can't find it now. Would someone mind posting the link? Thanks
For the heck of it I looked up my truck. It says it will be delivered in nine days on the 19th. I've had it for three days and I've already put 300 miles on it. Ha ha ha huh??
Link does not allow me to post a VIN. Is it correct?
Our local dealer has a truck being built that I am interested in buying. Dealer pulled the window sticker off his computer and gave it to me and told me the truck is being built as we speak. Truck does not show up on the first link provided in this thread. Any other suggestions for tracking it?
click on the link it will come up with a please check back later thing.
Then copy and paste your vin (no spaces) after the "vin=" in the address bar
Got it. The window sticker of the truck came up. How do you decipher what stage of build of delivery the truck is at? There is a date at the very bottom of the sticker, 10/23/18.
Under the MSRP there is another date (I think) 10 18 18
Q: how do you get the VIN to track after placing an order, are you relying on the dealer providing the information?
Q: what are the lead times running at tis time for say an F350?
I ordered my f-350 SRW on 10/5 and the projected delivery date is 12/5. I think there are a lot of factors that go into this though: dealer allocation is a big one, the specific way you order the truck has an influence I think, I have heard that the Ford spray in bedliner adds some time to produciton, there is probably more.
