Hey fellas, just wanted to share this info in case it helps! So my 06 F350 has been running and performing perfect but I went to fuel her up on Monday (only had 80 miles to empty). After filling it up with fuel, I notice my check engine light was on. It wasn't on when I stop to get fuel. The truck ran perfect with no signs of any issues. I decided to stop at my local Ford dealership where my buddy is the service manage and always takes great care of me. He got the truck in immediately. After about 20mins, he returned to ask if I had left my truck running while getting fuel. I said yes, why? So, he explained that when fueling up while the truck is running (mostly with low fuel in the tank), this can cause the truck to throw a CEL....Wait, what!!?? I normally shut the truck off when fueling but I was on the phone and in a hurry and didn't this time! He said it's a pretty common symptom when doing that with the 6.0 trucks. Just thought I would share this!
The Codes were P0460 (Fuel level sensor) and P0463 (PCM detects inaccurate fuel level from the fuel level sensor) Stated by my Ford dealership tech--Can happen when fueling the truck while running....PCM doesn't catch up to the fuel level sensor and throws the codes!!
Just wanted to share in case others experience this!!

Interesting. I found a DTR short video on these two codes. I thought his approach to get to the fuel sending unit was pretty good. I doubt that would happen with my bed bolts though- but you can hope.
