1990 7.3 idi no start
it will crank and sonetimes try to pop but wont fire with charged batteries. Wont even start with either or anything else.
Ive loosend the injector caps to see if their is air in the system and half the caps will bleed out fuel, no air pressure comes out of the shraeder valve aftwr cranking and testing it.
It has a fuel tank of fuel
Changed the icp(sensor in the timing cover as i jad a new one anyways).
changed the fuse under the dash
The truck has sat sinve january and tried to stsrt then but died as the batter was weak and hasnt wanted to start since(even with new batteries.
The glow plugs work, same with the block heater thats plugged in.
Would the injector pump be shot? As im leaning towards that.

Have you had your batteries checked? I once had a bad cell in one of my batteries, and even though the other battery was working fine, that bad cell would kill the whole system.
If you have fuel dribbling out of the injector lines, then I suspect your IP is fine. It could be a stuck metering valve though. Here's a video showing how to fiddle with the valve and you might get it unstuck. https://www.nickpisca.com/diesel/fue...injector-pump/
do you mean the tach sensor?
how fast is it turning over? a bad starter will keep the engine from starting.
here are two videos. first is a bad starter at 70 degrees:
and this is a new starter at 40 degrees:
two weeks after the first video, the truck would not turn over fast enough to fire off, so i was forced to replace the starter in the cold.
