got the motor set in place and see that the power steering pully is really close to steering gearbox any one know how close is normal?

if anyone has a pic of front and side of power steering pump in relation to gearbox 77 4x4 with a 351m or 400 in it .maybe i could figure out what was done on this frame and find a solution to fix the problem. . i can see frame was welded together as part of a repair or possibly a 4x4 conversion.
