nothing toward front in line with alternater. i didnt check under seat. frame was sprayed with under coating so it a bummer to get off. im thinking this was a 2 wd frame . the front spring mounts are welded on and the gear box mounting looks to be fabricated. the guy i got this from started the project and never finished.title is for 77 highboy.
yep 5025 is what its got.thank you. the previous owner did some fabrication looks like steering gear box is identical to my 78.front spring mounts have been welded. had 351/400 manifolds still attached to exhaust .so today ill try dropping the motor in place since.the tranny ,t case ,drive shafts are already in place.

Is there an aluminium "Warranty Plate" riveted to the back edge of the dvrs side door? The part that has the door latch for the striker. Is there a "Safety Certification" white sticker on the B pillar? What are those vi#'s? Do they at least match the paper title? Not sure how deep or through your state DMV folks are. But you might be in for a hard time getting it safety inspected, title-ODO checked, (if either of those apply to you in your state), let alone titled and tagged in your name if they want to see a frame # that matches the paper title #. Good luck.
yes my door tag matches the title . the guy got project from must have glued the 4x4 parts to the two wheel drive frame.i originaly bought this to put 4x4 stuff under my 66 crew cab but i got so much stuff with the deal that im thinking ill just finish puting truck together and sell to buy a better donor for my 66 project.
Well at least door tag matches the title, I hope you can get it titled in your name and finish the assembly. And sell it to finish your other project, we all know how that is.

So, you have a 66 crew cab project rig ?
I ask because I owned a 66 crew cab for maybe 25 years and sold it probably 7-years ago.
There were always too many interferences and my wife pestered me forever to let if go, and did wind up letting a guy have it for $1,500.00, which was waaaay to cheap. win a few and loose a few.
