1994 f 250 e4od help

I have a 1994 f 250 460 with e 4od .This is a extremely clean truck i bought from Arizona with 23000 mi 4 yrs ago has 30000 mi today .I never drive it after salt is on road in winter so its 1clean underneath everything is as it came from ford except dash radio went and i put in a modern radio disc player ...My problem
1 1/2 year ago i pull off a light and my trans shifts hard upshifting .once and then is ok Safe mode I assume pressuring shifts
3 mths later again u can see by my mileage i dont use it often but every now and then this has happened and twice it went into a neutral state while running around 55 I moved the shift lever thru the gears and I began working fine again.on and off this has gone on and I have no idea where to look I outline my search below
Read every e 4od post i find and buy a obd1 scan tool the 45 dollar napa job
1 scans revel only 1 code keep alive memory 512
2 per other threads I check every ground and add a few extra also clean and put dielectric grease in all plugs change all light bulbs
3 Although no code i read that rear speed sensor can cause this and not store memory I replace it
4.replace shift position sensor on trans
5.Have shop change trans fluid and filter and check for problems they found nothing
6 replace perfectly good battery cables and new battery just for the hell of it
7 readjust and curse at trans shift position sensor
8 Since i cannot ever clear code 512 even with code reader I send my pcm out to have it rebuilt and tested .I now have no codes but truck still will have a hard shift every now and again
code reader is ford innova brand
9 buy a break out box on e bay and drink beer while concluding im in over my head and drink more beer looking at forums on e 4 od
So truck runs fine no miss no nothing no ck eng light no od light flash speedometer works fine no rhyme or reason to when this will happen like going over bump or rain or hot or cold
just will do it once or will do it a few times and go away .I read a lot about these issues but cant nail down what is wrong
10 checked throttle pos sensor with meter but I cant see it being trouble no flat spot or dead spot on accelerator smooth increase
11 wiggle wires check electrical connections drink more beer cant cause it to happen
Will pluging in break out box allow testing of trans solenoid s my thought is if a electrical solenoid is mechanically sticking im still going to read a good electrical signal as coil can be in good condition . Im a stationary equipment mechanic with controls experience so I understand the electrical side of this a bit
I know there is tons of forums on this issue but none have led me to a fix
12 I screwed with the speed sensor (left it out of rear a bit to simulate a poor signal and found the speedometer react to this but no transmission reaction so I think psom is ok
13 Is there a kit with all new trans solenoid s maybe I should try trans pak replacement .I couldnt rebuild the trans but i believe I have the ability to do the electrical end ,Its playing part replacement but im not succeeding at troubleshooting
Summery : check clean all plugs /grounds try code reading /change fluid and filter /try part replacement associated with this trouble/ keep alive mem code have pcm capis changed and have it tested/ try to replicate problem by wire shaking moving /pull speed sensor out a bit to confuse signal see if that show same issue nope . truck speedometer picked this up and wavered but trans never missed a beat thru this test .my theory if intermittent is in this circuit this would cause it to become constant but had no effect on condition . truck is extremely clean under never used to tow 30000 mi have all prior maint. records no trans issues no flashing lights no engine light /checked operation of engine light it works cleaned all plugs including trans pack plug /no codes on innova reader .intermittent hard up shift cant replicate problem trans shop says cant find anything wrong help

Any suggestions of what to do next or if anyone knows a shop that may help should i go to ford dealer if that is only to get a idea Im in south new jersey .Thanks for any help

I laughed quite a bit at a vehicle leading to beer drinking!

Anyway, ever disconnected the solenoid pack (pass rear side) and cleaned the connector? I prefer to use Deoxit.

You also could have a broken accumulator spring in the accumulator body that hangs at times. Easy to drop and inspect. Drop pan. Pull filter. Long rectangle guy up front. 12 or so bolts, two nuts on studs. You may want to install a basic shift kit while in there. https://superiortransmission.com/pro...erior-ke4od-v/ That is a simple kit that will make the shifts positive, but not harsh. Did two of their Power Tow 4R100 kits this summer, shifts great. No check ***** go flying, no worries.
