Unique drive shaft

95 f-150, 5.0 auto, 4x4, extended cab.
Finally had the pinion bearing give up so rebuilt the rear diff. new bearings seals.
Notice I have a dent in the driveshaft. Don't know if bent or not. Went looking for a replacement shaft.
Turns out mine is unique by being about 1 1/2 inch longer than any of the dozens I've looked at.
I'm wondering if there is a cross reference that would show a shaft that will match what I have.
Mine is 55 inches weld to weld and 67.25 OAL.
Going to have it checked for straightness tomorrow. Not looking forward to paying $675.oo to have it rebuilt

In Cincinnati I paid, IIRC, $85 to have mine shortened. That is quite a sum just to replace the tube and rebalance.

$675? Find another shop. Or call up somebody like Tom Woods drivelines and give them the specs and have them build you one. I got *both* front and read drivelines for my CJ from them less than a year ago, and they didn't come to $675 even with the shipping.

Thanks for the suggestions, but living in small town Canada not a lot of options.
I'm wondering if Iv'e had the correct shaft all along, as every shaft out of similar trucks is up to 1 1/2 shorter.
The yoke is almost 5 and 1/4 inches into the transfer case by looking at the wear from the seal.

Thumbs up

139 or 155" wheel base? Need more info, then someone can probably measure theirs for you.

Sorry it's 139"
Talked to the local dealership parts department, they say up to 50 different lengths of shafts.
I'm wondering what the minimum amount of yoke that enters the t-case has to be.
I have over 5 inches of shine on the yoke that is in the case only about an inch of yoke outside.
