Water Pump

Hi all. Long time reader but don't post much. As I was coming home from work yesterday, the truck started to overheat. ECT was 221 and EOT was 229. Pulled over and popped the hood. Coolant was covering the engine compartment. Slight mist coming from the fan(at least looked like it). Cracked degas bottle and let pressure out. I added 1/2 gal zerex and 1 gal distilled water, and level still wasn't visible in the degas bottle. Temp came down to 188, normal for the truck. Limped it to publix for more distilled water, got truck home and checked radiator. Looks to leaking at the crimp on the backside under the fan shroud. I have a mishimoto aluminum radiator on the way. Now for the question, I've had the truck for 11 years and since I'm pulling the radiator and related stuff to get there, I want to replace the water pump too. I don't know which water pump it has, amazon is showing two pumps (motorcraft). I don't have the engine ser number. Build date is 10/03.
The ICP is on the passenger valve cover so that would make it a late model, right? But still not sure on what water pump to order. Any thoughts?
Any input or information will be appreciated. Thanks.
Ron

The number is on the back of the block just below the cylinder head. You will need a small mirror to read it. Good news is, it's on the driver's side which is easier to get too. Or you can go to a dealer and have them plug in a scanner and read the serial number. Or, you can play "Roshambo" and pick one of the two and hope it's right. 50/50 chance. LOL. Sorry, I can't help myself sometimes. B.

Thanks B. I was hoping there was another way to find out. When I get home today I'll try to see if I get a good look. The ford dealer near me shows that they have the smaller one and about 15 day wait on the bigger one. Thanks for the reply. The 50/50 for me wouldn't be a good outcome, not good at gambling!!!! LOL

A late, early build motor (ICP location), it should have the larger water pump for an '04.

Thanks too many toys, was hoping you'd chime in. Looking with a mirror from the top - I didn't have any luck. Man, It is tight back there. I was thinking that it was the bigger water pump but didn't have enough knowledge to be sure. Haven't had to wrench on it other than regular maintenance.
This forum is full of good knowledge. Thanks again.
I'm on the moble side now, I hope it all goes through.

There is no way to tell from the exterior of the water pump, they look the same. I've got both right here.

But when they went to the larger flow EGR cooler, which included the changes to the oil delivery and ICP sensor on the valve cover, the larger water pump was part of the package - the EGR cooler higher exhaust flow need more coolant.
