Oil pump
I have a question I was hoping someone could answer !!
I purchased a timing kit from an online shop and They have worked out so far! BUT today I get to the oil pump and I'm stuck! It seems that when I go to match it up to the motor gasket and oil pick up line neither seem to match in shape quite The same ! Oval VS Sq. If you get what I mean
it says that this it is a match for my truck

But it doesn't look it that's for sure my it number is 3L3Z8501CA Thune pump it's self I don't see the 3V on it like all time ones I've seen in videos installed ! Not sure that matters really it may still cover the gasket spots with different shapes I haven't tried but but I'm thinking someone has gone thru this lol ! So please help me out if anyone can and thank you in advance either way.
don't use any part that you are not sure of -melling is the best .
Clean your oil pan and oil pickup real well , its a must do - no oil flow destroys engine new parts and old . Use melling steel ratcheting chain tensioners with no seal to blow , do not use the metal plates that may come with them for older vehicles . No gasket no sealers .
