You can take the plug out and make a connector if you have the correct pins...it was easier to have BGG make two pig tails IMO

Yes that is correct. I can definitely try that, but I have to figure out why the drivers side does not have power to it.

I'm hijacking this, because i have a related question;
I've install led lights above the running boards and they work great!
Anybody install a kill/off switch for these lights/puddle lights?
