Motorcraft Oil filter made in China?

I was checking to order a Motorcraft Oil filter at Amazon and some say it's Motorcraft but the manufacturer is in China. Do you know if all Motorcraft filters are made in China, like from Amazon or from Walmart or even at the Ford Dealer? Thanks.

Most likely a counterfeit filter. Having said that Motorcraft uses a patented Racor brand filter for the 6.0PSD so who knows if Racor moved the manufacturing of this filter across the pond.

Watch out at Walmart. I got scammed when someone swapped an aftermarket filter into a Motorcraft box.

I always check the filter in the box for that very reason.

Last time I looked it up Recor had two plants in the US. One on the NE and one in South Mississippi. Seems like there was one in Europe somewhere also. Nothing in China at that time, maybe a year ago.

I assume almost every car part on Amazon is counterfeit, Chinese junk. Period.

Unless you know the seller then I would keep that in mind.
That is a fairly safe bet that most are. Don't forget Ebay.
