I always had two problems with any truck cover : the stock antenna, and west coast jr. mirrors.
I could never accurately gage, due to stretch in the fabric, where to install the grommet for the antenna. Plus, using the larger mirrors, which I would never consider forgoing since the stock ones are pathetic - the cover was always so taught around them, it shortened up the overall length of the cover.
Now, however, I guess I’m out of options, since I took to keeping a tall vintage camper shell on the truck year round. I like the theory of using a cover, but the reality is I probably am done with them - which is a shame since I only have one of those tall metal carports for my truck. I probably cannot afford to have any kind of custom made cover, if they even do make one.
Mike, do you have a bed cover on your truck? Looks like a flat surface under the car cover, maybe a sheet of plywood? I have an issue with my truck cover collecting water when it rains, turns my bed into a pool! I use a couple of saw horses in the bed to raise the cover up so the water sheds away to the sides, not a great solution but it works okay. Just wondering if you've found a clever solution.

I do have a BlackMax snap tonneau cover on top of the bed. That particular cover has been discontinued as I just saw.
