Truck Cover

Looking for a good source for a full truck cover. Got the wife a new car so the truck won't fit in the garage.

Topper style, or tonneau? I am about to the pull the trigger on a Diamondback. I've had the full topper before as well, I prefer ARE z-series, well made. Problem for me is that it makes my truck too tall to get in the garage, so thats why I am going with a hard tonneau instead.

It sounds like you are looking for a soft cover for the truck. My experience with those are you need to wash and dry the vehicle before you install the cover each time. If not, dust and road grime will continually scratch the paint surface. Over time, the dirt/dust becomes imbedded in the cover and acts as a very fine sandpaper. I used to use the cover only for long term storage.

Hope this helps.

BuyAutoCovers.com "Superior Guard™ 5L Truck Cover" is the best cover I have ever had. PERIOD. 100% Waterproof, and it breathes. I have a Rollbak Tonneau cover on mine and it the cover is GREAT. For under $200, you cannot find a better cover. It also comes with a 7 year warranty. I would put anything else on my truck.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes I am considering a soft cover. Good point about the dirt problem. Need to consider that. Truck sits for several days at a time before I drive it.

Like he said.
Unless the truck doesn't get dirty, even soft covers are damaging the paint as you take them on and off.
A good coat of wax and frequent washing is the only alternative (or a new bigger garage!)
