Hello all. I'm getting ready to replace my rear hatch due to internal rust and have 2 questions.
One, when disconnecting the wiring harness are there disconnects someplace either inside the boot or inside the hatch itself that's accessible after removing the interior trim or am I looking at cutting and splicing wire?
Two, is there any trick to alignment other than scribing a line around the hinges on the Ex body before removing?
I'm planning on buying the whole hatch locally and replacing as one unit (my glass is bad too from the wiper running on a dry window).
Thanks
Thanks Seville. I wasn't even thinking about the year or trim level making a difference in connectors. Mine is an 05 Limited so maybe I best off shopping around for a complete hatch from the same or transferring the guts of my hatch including wiper motor into the donor shell.
