I own a F250 with 6.0L Powerstroke, if the engine is cold in the morning, I start the engine and immidiatly it shut down after 1 second, after 4 or 5 times starting again the engine keep running. later the day everytime I start the engine starts right without any problem. Only the start in the morning is difficult. I live in the Caribbean so I don't think it will be bad glow plugs. FICM 48V, IPR when Iddle 33%, IPR Pressure iddle around 600 Psi, fuel pressure 47 - 90 Psi, (feed pump), I have 1 diagnostic fault code: P0069, it shows: Manifold absolute pressure MAP sensor/barometric pressure, correlation. Can that be the issue?
Could be the tube to the maniflold is plugged/restricted, or the sensor is bad. At KOEO does BARO = MAP +/- 0.5 psi? If no psi/volts on MAP probably sensor. If psi on MAP not +/- 0.5 of BARO I would check tube by running weedeater string or something similar thru it.
I had a similar issue my HPOP front seal was leaking, this seemed to correct my problem. However I had another unrelated issue and still trying to work it out and unfortunately haven't been able to drive it much since the HPOP replacement. Below is a link to my thread. Not saying this is your problem, but very similar.
