Tailgate Step Noise
I have a 2008 F-450 recently I have noticed a loud rattling from my bed area. I thought is was my fifthwheel hitch. So of course I took it out but I was still getting the rattling. Now I am thinking it is the tailgate step. I checked all bolts for the step they are all tight. Has anyone else had this issue with the tailgate step? If so what is the fix because this is really annoying.

Your problem may have been different from mine but, here, the original plastic bushing is missing. After failing in trying to find a replacement part online, I fabricated my own. On one side I used 3/4" pvc trim and the other side is 1/2" ply.
