Air System Ordered

Ordered my compressor system with tank, air horn and rear air lift bag kit and dual path bag fill controller.
Coming from 3 different sources, all supposed to be here by the 29th.

Been looking around under my truck for good mounting locations for the compressor and tank, and since my truck is 2WD, there is a large open space on the driver's side of the trans, between it and the frame rail, just ahead of the trans crossmember. Going to see if I can figure out a way to mount them there. That area also seems pretty well out of the splash area from the front tires.

Anyway, I'll see what I have to do when it gets here.

I just did this last week was hoping to mount above the spare tire, but there wasn't enough room. I went on the outside of the frame on the passenger side. I also installed airlift bags. I did single path, and bought the same air switch/valve airlift and Firestone use on their kits, and recessed it I to the dash.

I bought metal to weld up my own brackets. While T home depot I stumbled across these heavy duty L-brackets, and they were already black. So went with them instead.

Well, I'm amazed.
Ordered air bag kit Saturday, and it showed up this morning already!
Guess it helped that it was coming from a Texas seller, but still basically just one day from order to delivery, and it wasn't an amazon 1-day delivery deal.

Anyway, kit looks good, very heavy duty mounts and brackets.

Controller and pull switch supposed to be here by the end of the week, but the compressor and horn kit won't be here until next week.

Guess I could install the air bag kit, run the manual fill valves, then tap into that when the rest of the parts get here since I was going to run both the external fill as well as the controller fill.

Now the controller has shown up earlier than expected, thought it would be Friday or Saturday.
Was hard to tell how much space it would need by looking at pics online, my original idea for how I would mount it won't work, so will have to do something else.

Maybe mount it like this...

Bog old box showed up on my porch this morning.

The air horn and compressor kit...

And, I'm thinking about where to mount the horn, considering a couple of different places...
