I haven't done an April fool's gag since I was 10 yrs old..So being today's April 1st, it never dawns on me...it's just another day The more I read it...there wasn't any 10 speeds for super duties in Feb 2019. There are no super duties produced in Ohio....This person went through a lot of effort to make this up...

 

I believe Ohio produces the 550 and up as well as the chassis for motor homes. So that part is legit.

My redflag was where it has the tech replacing a planetary drum inside a tranny! Maybe I'm wrong but i don't see Ford having their techs rebuild trannies.

 

I'd rather set the truck on fire in the service department parking lot than have a technician at my local store rebuild my transmission.

 

Well, ford does have us repair transmissions. I work somewhere, where I read bulletins every morning when I get to work.. It was there this morning..Thank goodness mine was built in October--its still a 2020.. Now excuse me..Today is the first Thursday of the month.. Making potato soup I am..

 

My truck is unaffected as it has not yet been built. (But I have closed a real estate deal and will order in 6 weeks or so. Whooot!)

Yes,, Take your vin# to the dealer.. They will see if it is included. Parts of course may be backordered.
