Needing some help with my son in laws 2010 F250 king ranch crewcab diesel that I borrowed from him while my truck gets worked on. To make a long story short the truck pulls to the right. I ask him about it and he has had a couple shop look at it with no luck. The thing that I noticed is if your looking straight at the front the right tire sticks out from under the fender about 2” while the left side is in that much. The truck does have a lift on it but I don’t know how much plus 37” tires. If pics are needed let me know and I’ll post them tomorrow.
Well I got a chance to work on the truck and was able to adjust the front tracking bar and got the front end centered in the truck and aligned the steering wheel but it still pulls to the left. It may be a little better but it will put you in the ditch if you take your hand off the wheel. I thought fixing this that it would fix the pulling issue, but it didn’t. There is definitely an alignment issue going on here. And just as a warning, there are a LOT of shops out there that can't do alignments on Super Duties, even dealerships, despite the popularity of the platform. Heck I had a '99 F250, extended cab short box and had a place that was putting tires on tell me they couldn't do an alignment on it because their alignment rack wasn't big enough. There are also shops tha will 'say ' they can do it, but can't do it right.
All that said, if the lift wasn't installed properly there is a marginal chance that the entire axle is off and causing the issue. Either way, it can be solved by a competent alignment shop.
Have you checked the brakes on the left side? I have had to replace a caliper on mine that had the brake dragging. Just feel the wheel after driving to see if one is hot. Tire pressure can also cause truck to pull to one side, if one is low. Just obvious things to check.
