Electronics Question
4 main components:
1) A control module
2) Speed sensor. Look for a little doohickey with wires, somewhere along the run of the speedometer cable
3) Actuator, to move the throttle. Look under the hood for a canister or flying saucer doohickey (sorry for all the technical terms). It will probably have a push-pull cable connected to the throttle linkage. It will also have a vacuum line and possibly some wires.
4) Control switches. This is your funky turn signal lever. It appears all the lettering has worn off, but it probably had something like On/Off, Cancel or Coast, and Resume/Accelerate.
The wiring likely includes a connection to the brake lights, to disconnect if the brakes are applied.
Take your truck out on an empty highway and play with the switches. You may be pleasantly surprised to find the system still works.
Poke around on eBay or with online automotive literature dealers. You may be able to find an owner's manual. I doubt any parts are available, other than used bits on eBay.
