Electronic ignition
Converting the 70 F100 over to Electronic should be easy as buying a distributor and module for a 74 from Rock Auto.
Why mess with Pertronix when getting the factory type electronic ignition would be cheaper?
Am I missing something here?

A Pertronix is less work if your present distributor is still in good shape. Won't have to remove it, and is almost plug and play. You can easily convert back to points if need be. The Duraspark requires more wiring to do it.

OK so the Petronix is more for simplicity. I know the Duraspark is a pretty hot distributor that can handle some decent HP.
I was just wondering what the limits of the Petronix was compared to the Ford Duraspark.
