Fit in perfectly and puts out great light nilight 20 inch bar . I've had great luck with the nilight stuff even with how inexpensive it is they works great
There are 5 plastic trim plugs that hold the metal part of the bumper to the plastic part . I popped 2 of them out and found 2 stainless bolts that fit in them without any drilling. Here's a close up if you look under the bar in the picture you can see the other 3 plugs I didn't pull out.

great idea thanks man would be awesome to find a light with black background
I didn't want any holes anywhere, and I already had the 42" curved light as a birthday gift from my daughter.
My wife also didn't want any light on the front to look gaudy and out of place, so I did this. If you're not looking for it, you may not see it. It fit right into the bottom grill gap and I bolted it to an aluminum bar I cut to fit behind the grill, so it sandwiched the grill without any alterations.
The wife likes (doesn't hate) it and while it's not a DiodeDynamics, it's pretty dang bright.
Installed the RC light kit for the Super Duty this weekend. The install took about 3 hours, not real difficult, just time consuming. The kit is really clean and fits well. Only had to trim a small notch in the corners.

You have any info on what light bar that actually is? Also and pics of the bracket you made and where it is mounted into, I cant really picture in my head how you mounted it since i haven't had a chance to look yet and see how all stock grilles mounts up.
mewaschuk - the SS3 cubes are all 3". The 4 in the plate spot just mount using their brackets. The OEM fog light location I had to convert from OEM LED to halogen then snap in the DD Ford bracket.

The way I mounted it was to get two 5-1/2" and two 6" stainless hex bolts and locknuts. The heads of the bolts need a tiny bit of grinding on two opposite sides, then they can slide nicely into the heatsink fins on the back of the lightbar spaced nicely. I used a 1/8"x1-1/2"x36" aluminum bar held behind the inside edge of the grill, and both ends cut to fit, about 33" long I think. You'll see when you take off the top plastic trim and look. Mark and drill four holes and you're set. Super easy to do.

A better view of the front.
I like that - fits great. Can you explain some more on the mount? - - did you use the light bar's brackets to attach to your fabbed aluminum piece?
