Hey guys, first I want to tell everybody how much I appreciate this forum.
I have a carb spacer on my 73 f100 302 that is very close to burning through.
The spacer number is D5UE 9AB89 AB. does not have egr valve on back.
Trying to locate a replacement.thanks
thanks guys, the plate is probably not original but the truck ran really good then it started having idle issues like a vacuum leak.It was a leaking gasket.
I hope to find a plate, I wish mr numberdummy or somebody could search obsolete parts. I have not had much luck. Thanks.
That would be great, I have not found one with the egr bulge on passenger side without
the valve on back. Just let me know. I sent a message but not sure if it was in the right place. Thank you
yeah it is actually worse than it looks in the picture. It's chiseled out to really thin just above mounting surface which is thin also.
hard to see it in picture. Thanks
If worse comes to worse you could have it blasted and have someone heliarc some new aluminum in and remachine surfaces. Had to do it on 85 5.0 GT spacer once.
That's a good idea, this type is tough to find. I located one that was solid on bottom no egr hole. But still covers hole in intake Not sure
how that would effect carb.but if jackietreehorn finds one I will purchase it anyway. Thanks
